Elneny advises Salah to stay at Liverpool

CAIRO – 28 February 2020: Egypt international, Mohamed Elneny, urged his teammate at the national team, Mohamed Salah, to reject Real Madrid offer and stay at Liverpool.
Since his move to Liverpool in 2017 summer, Salah became a target for the biggest European clubs including Real Madrid and Barcelona.
“He is very settled at his current club, and this Liverpool team is up there with the best. I don't know what he thinks inside, but I would definitely stay at Liverpool." Elneny told press on Friday.
Elneny and Salah enjoy a life time friendship as the two players started their football career together at Arab Contractors in Egypt since they were 15.
Elneny added “Of course, Real Madrid is bigger than Liverpool, Barcelona is bigger than Liverpool. You see Eden Hazard is struggling at Real after he moved from Chelsea.”
Salah has been a key player and established himself as Liverpool fans’ hero, having led the club to win UEFA Champions League title last season and they are so close to win their first Premier League title since 1990.
