Hanager Center, Greater Cairo Library, Islamic Civilization Library sterilized

CAIRO – 1 April 2020: The Cultural Production Affairs Sector, headed by director Khaled Galal, has completed the sterilization procedures for the sector’s building and the Hanager Center for Arts at the Egyptian Opera House.
That is in addition to the completion of the sterilization procedures at the Greater Cairo Library in Zamalek and its branch, the Library of Islamic Civilization in the Citadel.
This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Culture’s implementation of the precautionary measures set by the state to confront the emerging coronavirus pandemic, and in implementation of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly's Resolution No. 719 of 2020 regarding the precautionary measures to combat the virus.
Galal stated that the number of workers in the sector has been reduced, and the fingerprint system has been suspended. Also, workers who suffer from chronic diseases, pregnant employees, and those who care for a child or more of less than 12 years of age were granted an exceptional leave during the period of the prime minister’s Resolution No. 719 of 2020.
Furthermore, Galal added that a number of preventive instructions were announced in the sector, to raise the employees' awareness of how to combat the coronavirus. These guidelines were hung in various places in the sector.
