Klopp opens the door to new deals for Liverpool in January

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has opened the door to new signings in the January transfer market.
"I'm not here to talk about Manchester City in the winter transfer market. I hear it for the first time and I'm not surprised, but it's not important," he said when asked about comments from Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.
"We are not always talking about it. We are always ready. If we can do something that will help us, we will. If not, we will not," he said when asked about possibility of signing new players.
"I think the summer Mercato is very difficult because of the different timing of its closure in Europe, we will see what may happen in the future," he said.
"Closing the summer transfer market before the rest of Europe, doesn't help the English clubs," he added.
In January, Klopp signed Virgil van Dijk from Southampton for £75m to become the most expensive defender in the world.
Liverpool are eight points clear above Leicester City and 11 points above champions Manchester City after 14 rounds.
