Shoukry probes with his Danish counterpart bilateral relations, regional issues

CAIRO, Feb 16 (MENA) – Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry discussed on Sunday with his Danish counterpart Jeppe Kofod bilateral relations and regional issues of mutual concern, on the sidelines of the annual Munich Security Conference.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Hafez said in a statement to the press, Shoukry hailed during the meeting the tangible development in Egyptian-Danish relations at all levels and existing coordination between the two countries to face challenges topped by terrorism and illegal migration.
During the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of developing cooperation, especially in the clean energy and new and renewable energy domains.
For his part, the Danish foreign minister hailed Egypt Vision 2030 for sustainable development, said the spokesman, adding the two ministers reviewed regional issues including the Egyptian Middle East policy as well as the developments of the Palestinian issue and the Libyan crisis.
